Are you interested in all of that? If so, this is an interesting thing that you can do in Bali for FREE, aka you don’t need to spend money on entrance tickets. Well, at best, just spend money to pay for parking, snacks or voluntary donations. But even then the amount will not be much, really. Enjoy!

1.  Temukus Village’s Gemitir Flower Field (Marigold)

Temukus Village is a quiet village in East Bali, adjacent to the holiest (unfortunately also the most commercial) temple in Bali. Many of the villagers grow flowers, so it is easy to find flower gardens here. But don’t forget to ask permission from local residents before entering their garden.

This place is famous for the beauty of the flowers that bloom with yellow-orange petals. Temukus Village is not dominated by green, but orange. If you pay attention, there is one special flower that is used in every ritual in Bali, namely Marigold flowers, or the local people usually call it ‘Gemitir’. Imagine how nice it would be to be in the middle of a Marigold flower garden.

An important tip for you, it would be better to visit this place before the harvest season, so you can see the garden which is full of flower beds (usually before religious holidays, so you can check with your Balinese friends about the right date to visit there, considering that Bali uses a leap calendar, so there is a change in the date of the celebration every year).

2. The trendiest bazaar in the hipster area
